Onpoint Patchwork and Needlecraft is located in the Newcastle suburb of Waratah. After more than 20 years of Primary School teaching, I followed my dream of owning a Patchwork shop and my husband and I assumed ownership of Onpoint on the 13th January, 2003. We carry a wide range of beautiful fabrics to choose from, including Thimbleberries, the Jinny Beyer Palette, Mumm's the Word, Dayview, Leutenegger and flannels. It is the height of luxury to work daily in the midst of such beautiful fabrics that beckon to be made into projects that will one day become family heirlooms. With three children, and now five grandsons, there is always someone willing to accept the latest creation. To complement the fabrics, I stock many timber and ceramic buttons, including Nikki Tervo and Unique Buttons. Among the patterns to inspire you are those from Mumruffin Cottage, Hooley Dooley, Chook Shed, Wendy Brigg, Christine Book and the Woodcutter's Daughter. I believe in Australian products and want to promote the work of local designers by carrying their products. If you enjoy embroidery, we stock the complete range of DMC threads, Cross Stitch kits, Handcrafted from the Heart and the Woodcutter's Daughter stitcheries. |
